Shearing Shed Retreat



Our Shearing Shed Retreat is situated by itself at the head of a valley
and looks out over farm land and native rain forest to limestone bluffs on the skyline.


It sleeps six. The main room has a double bed at one end, and an annex with a double fold out sofa. A bedroom leads off the main room and has two single beds. Spare mattresses supplied. The bathroom has a shower, flush toilet and a hand basin.
There is a veranda, a gas barbecue and a huge old fashioned outdoor bath.
The Retreat is cosy, comfortable and clean. It has a spacious, open plan, fully equipped living and kitchen area, with an excellent wood range for cooking, heating and hot water (fire wood supplied), plus gas rings for cooking, a gas fridge and solar powered lighting.


Gilbert's Beach
It's a ten minute walk or short drive (two or four wheel) down a valley to a beautiful sandy beach.

Watch the surf, look out for whales, seals and bird life.
Breakfast or barbecue on the veranda while watching the light change in the bluffs.



Linen, (sheets and bath towels) - $15.00 per person per stay.
